Coming to design and build quality, both printers are great in this perspective. The Hp M281FDW is precisely designed for small business and home uses. The printer comes with a 2.7-inch color display along with three buttons Help, Home, and Back. The printer has good navigating buttons which can make the tasks easier to perform. The compact size and paper capacity makes the printer suitable for all purposes.

On the other hand, the Hp M283FDW is also a well-designed printer that has a 2.7-inch color touchscreen display. The printer has duplex printing to print both sides of documents with decent speed and cheap cost. HP M281fdw Vs HP M283fdw: Printing Costs and Page Yields

Both laser printers have moderate printing costs and great page yields. The Hp M281FDW comes with decent printing qualities along with scanning and copying features. The text printings and the documents are also superb in their quality.

It’s quite affordable but somehow it can be costly in the case of per-page printings, while the black ink prints are reasonable about 0.03$ per page print but the color print is a bit higher i.e. 0.11$ per page. It has a monthly duty cycle of 40000 pages.

Whereas the Hp M283FDW has a fair rate of printing. The four inks make the prints more colorful and vibrant. Hp laser printers are basically known for their cheap printing costs.
